Photos from our May social meet at Piney Lakes Reserve NEWSFLASH: The Weimaraner Club of WA is thrilled to notify Weimaraner owners of a wonderful opportunity! Houndstooth Studio have generously offered to not only discount a photo shoot of your beloved grey dog, but to also make a donation towards the club for each photo shoot booked! Houndstooth are one of Australia's most awarded pet photographers - what a wonderful gift for your Weimaraner addict this photo shoot would be! Please present this flyer, or mention the offer for the Weimaraner Club of WA when making your booking.  Our Weimaraner Club Puppy Classes 2012 have commenced. If you have a Weimaraner puppy and are interested in coming along please use the contact form to express your interest in our specialised puppy classes - the next class is SUNDAY the 20th of May at 4pm at Carine Open Space (number 263 on the map) All puppies are welcome, once they have had their second vaccination. Please bring vaccination record with you to your first lesson. Our aim is to promote this beautiful breed, the Weimaraner, through education, social events, dog activities and dog sports in Western Australia. In the short term we would like to encourage pet owners to join the club, to share their experiences and expand their knowledge of the breed. In the long term we hope that fanciers of Weimaraners in Western Australia will have loads of fun with the range of disciplines available for these dogs; agility, obedience, tracking, retrieving and showing. To that end we try our best to offer training opportunities and events with some of the most respected trainers in WA.
We would also like to promote the Weimaraner in Western Australia as a first class companion and family dog. The Weimaraner Social Club of Western Australia considers breed re homing, rescue and adoption a vital part of our service to the breed. We aim to be a source of information and advice for people interested in the Weimaraner breed in Western Australia. We publish a bi monthly newsletter for members. We regularly host social events; as a way for Wei owners to get together and also to raise funds for rescue and rehoming.
